Happy Thanksgiving - American Style!
Well, our 2nd American Thanksgiving is upon us. (Even though one of the people in the picture isn't too happy!)
We are headed over to our friends' house for dinner and celebration of this day.
And YES we are getting excited about Disney World this coming week. It will be a fabulous break for us as a family and to create some new memories.
Hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend!

Gray + Brown = Geniuses
We decided to go out on one of our adventures this past weekend. We drove down to Providence, Rhode Island. This is also the home of Brown University - one of the Ivy League schools here in the North East.

We have a similar picture of the kids at the doors of Harvard too. :) Who knows? Maybe we need to start saving our pennies now(haha)for tuition!
We enjoyed time at Dave and Buster's - a glorified Chuckie Cheese - where we ate dinner and played LOTS of games. And the pool is always a hit with our two and since they both have been taking swimming lessons, it's good practice and for showing us what they know.
The following day, we drove down to Newport, RI. A gorgeous day, in a beautiful place right on the water. There were so many sailboats out - chilly but sunny. Newport reminds us of Deep Cove, N. Vancouver or Gig Harbor, WA.
It was also a great time for me to practice more of my photography. Here's a couple shots of what I got ---

Cute, huh? :)
Well, Kevin is down in Massachusetts yesterday and today for work meetings. He should be home tonight. It's always great to get him back. :)

A New Mr. President
Yes, I'm sure the entire world was watching as Barack Obama accepted the President-Elect position yesterday.
We have been in a unique position of living in a country where we do not have any 'say' (vote) in the ultimate outcome. We have observed much and tried to take it all in.
But the one thing that I have been overwhelmed with throughout this entire process is the fact that we, as Christians, are called to pray for all authority figures. God knew Barack Obama would be elected and this is all going to play out for His will.
"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15
Yesterday a new President was elected but I know who the KING is!!!
Praise God that HE is in control of all of this. I know that I will be praying for President-Elect Barack Obama.
