Family - Wedding - Visiting

The Grandbabies on the Gray side (again, in birth order)
Chelsie, Alex, Sydney, Taylor and Emily
The first two days in the greater Vancouver area, consisted of family get togethers and lots of pictures - one of my favorite things! Lots of good food and great conversation, catching up with everyone and making the most of our time together.
My Auntie Kathy was visiting my Mom too. Good to see her after a couple years.
The rest of the week was wedding events - left, right and center!! Oh yeah, and dress fittings! In the end, we had a whirlwind week of family, friends, wedding, visiting, etc.
Here is a pictorial of the week:
Girl's Night Out - looking out onto English Bay! Nancy (the bride) and Bobby-Jo
The other girls there - Wendy and Tess
Okay, yes, those are bags (one for each kid!) of Smarties!!! (FYI- M&M's are the equivilent here in the USA.) This was a 'gift' from Auntie Tess!!! A VERY long story - e-mail Tess if you want to get the straight goods :) And they gobbled them up like it was Thanksgiving! Only it wasn't! and it was about 9pm!!!! Many thanks Tess!
The Rehersal
Nancy and all of her crazy girls!
Gerry (the groom) and his kids: Jennifer and Philip
Nancy and her Mommy, Irma
Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Werner
Our gang! Glad there's just the four of us to keep track of!
The happy couple! :)
The day after the wedding, we had breakfast at White Spot (one of our favorite restaurants!) with Grandma and Grandpa Gray before we drove back to Seattle.
We flew home the 31st of August and succeeded in leaving a suitcase behind - let's not go there! But the moral of that story is that I will NEVER forget a piece of luggage AGAIN! It was found and Sara - bless your heart - is sending me the contents of said suitcase.
So that was that trip! We were glad to get home and back into a routine here. I'll write in the next couple days about what has been happening since being back.
Love to all!!
