Tubin' - Maine Style!

Oh yeah! We are making the best of these snow filled days and hills. Today, we went to a neighbor's birthday party. What did she want to do? Tubing!! No walking up the hills here...that's what the conveyor belt is for! You can see that on the right side of the picture.

This is part of our crew. Lots of laughs and screams! You get some good speed happening too!

You are allowed to 'link' your tubes together and at one point, we had 17 people in our group going down! What a BLAST!!

Prayer Please!

Let's just say...we need your prayers! There is so much happening here, mainly with Kevin's job.

At church, the sermons have been on prayer and now we are praying specifically for:

1) God's guidance and wisdom in decisions regarding where we are going to live and work. (Don't worry, Kevin still has a job here.) We know that we need to be closer to family and friends, for their support.

2) God's peace and assurance in those decisions.

3) Wisdom for the words that we speak.

4) That the right 'doors' will be open at the right time and in the right place.

5) Alex and Chelsie - that they would know that they are being taken care of. Peace.

So many things, but just about everything! :)

We could never tell you how much this means to us!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

New Skates and a Hockey Puck!

Oh yeah! We had fun today!! After church and lunch, we went and bought Chelsie a pair of skates! We've been talking about this for quite some time. Alex and skates don't 'mix', so when he found some brightly colored hockey pucks, he got to choose the color he wanted - RED! A man after my own heart! :)

There is a local pond about a mile away from our place - Mill Creek - and every year when it's frozen over, it becomes the local hang out. The best part is that Kevin, Janine and Alex didn't have to wear skates to be on the ice. We took a thermos of coffee for us big kids :) and some water for the smaller ones. That kept us warm and happy while Chelsie and Alex had a blast checking out the ice and snow.

My turn with the hockey stick! Chels taking a break.

My cutie pies!

Now it's 'Date Night'. Hope you all have a great rest of the day!
